SPRING CHICKENS REC LEAGUES
We are excited to announce our beginners level leagues to give kids an opportunity to play a sport they are interested in without the pressure competing with experienced players. Our leagues are built to make sports fun and exciting without the competitive nature that prioritizes winning. Players will be allowed to have fun, stay active, and learn new skills. One game per week on Saturday mornings opens the opportunity for players to join our leagues while participating in other sports during the Spring.
Ages
Soccer: Pre-K through 4th Graders
Football: Pre-K through 4th Graders
T-Ball: Pre-K through Kindergarten
When
Season will begin on May 3rd and end on June 14th.
*No games will be played on Memorial Day weekend
Where
All games will be played inside the Go Pro Sports Dome in Shorewood, IL
The best part? No cancellations due to weather!
Games
Games will be played every Saturday morning. Official schedules will be released in late April.
Games will be 40-45 minutes with a 15-20 minute warm-up/practice beforehand
Jerseys
All players will receive a t-shirt jersey to be worn at all games. Jerseys will be handed out before the first game.
*Any other equipement such as pants, shorts, shin-guards, bats, gloves and cleats must be purchased on your own
SPECTATORS
Spectators are welcome at all events! Seating areas will be around the perimeter of the fields. Make sure to bring a bag chair to sit in!
