Thomas Shelley
Tom was
a two-year starting infielder at Parkland College, a nationally ranked Junior
College program. He was part of the national runner up team in 2005 as the
starting shortstop. In 2006, he was named all-conference and all-district as a
sophomore with a batting average of .344. Tom was also named a mid-season
All-Star while playing in the Sandlot Summer Collegiate Wood-bat League in
Nashville, TN. After receiving a full scholarship to play at the Division
I Delaware State, Tom was named First Team All MEAC as a second baseman batting
.392, and was among the top 50 in the nation in batting among Division I
collegiate players. Tom has over 8 years of private instructor experience.
