Kyle Cunningham
Was a 3rd baseman and pitcher at USF from 2011-2015 where his team qualified for nationals three out of his four years playing in college. Made his collegiate debut on the mound as a freshman throwing a 6 innings allowing 2 hits and one earned run against Aquinas during the teams first games in Lake Whales, Florida. Used primarily as a pitcher freshman year he posted a 2-0 record in his 19 appearances. Also played in 17 games in the infield finishing with a .333 average freshman year. From sophomore to junior year he saw action at 3rd base, 2nd base, and Right field with a combined batting avg of .320 along with pitching 70 innings with a combined era of 2.94. Used primarily as a 3rd baseman his senior year he posted a .370 avg.
In high school he played for coach Jared Voss at Joliet Catholic Academy... Two-year varsity letter winner... Named team captain as a junior... All-East Suburban Catholic Conference in 2010 ... Joliet Herald-News All-Area as a junior... Key component of JCA's 3A regional championship squad in 2010
