Jason Shelley is the owner of Go Pro Baseball and has nine years professional experience ranging from independent baseball to AA. He has been an instructor for over seven years, instructing ages from six years old to college age. Jason was an all-state high school player at Plainfield central, and was drafted in the 40th round out of high school by the Pittsburgh Pirates in ’95 and again after his junior year in college in the 29th round by the Toronto Blue Jays. He played Division I baseball for Western Michigan and Northeast Louisiana, leading Northeast Louisiana with home runs and broke the single season RBI record as a senior in ’99. He played in the cape cod league in ’97 and signed as a free agent in ’99 as an infielder with the Pirates. He converted to pitcher in 2000 and in 2002 broke the single season strike out record with 156 strikeouts in the Frontier League. He was 2003 Baseball America’s Independent Player of the Year. With the AA Brewers, Jason posted a 2.53 ERA with 54 strikeouts in 54 innings. Jason’s overall numbers in AA are a 3.18 ERA with 82 strike outs in 87 innings.

Thomas was a starting shortstop on National runner-up Junior College team as a freshman. He was named all conference and all-district as a sophomore. He also played at Delaware State and received first team all conference at second base batting .392 and was in the top 50 in the nation in batting among Division I players.

Mike is a recent graduate of Eureka College and was a four year starter for the Red devils. During his collegiate career at EC he maintained over a .300 batting average each year, along with many extra base hits and a number of homeruns. Mike also received an all-conference nomination in his junior year as an Outfielder showing his strengths in hitting and arm velocity. Throughout his high school career he played under Mike Zunica at St. Rita and finishing up at Eureka College playing under Robert Doty and Mike McDonald. Mike is a firm believer in what we teach at Go Pro Baseball and learned our methods from some of the finest instructors and academies in Illinois.
